Aleatico that underwent carbonic maceration for ten days, before being pressed off to vat to finish fermentation and rest until the following spring. From a cooler year, this pours a wonderful shade of purple, offering soaring notes of red berries and rose, whilst blood orange and bitter herbs offer refreshment in spades. Few wines capture the heady joys of summer in this way and this is one of their best yet.

A field blend of Aleatico, Sangiovese, Procanico, Ciliegiolo and Merlot from forty five year old vines planted over sandy loam in Orvieto, that might just be our favourite wine for spring. The grapes infused as whole bunches for five days, before a short rest in vat. Light, bright and perfumed, it offers refreshing notes of sour cherry, blood orange and herbs and as the name suggests, is best enjoyed outdoors.

Made from a rare clone of Petite Syrah, this is deeper, darker and more heavily set than Z(i)du. The nose offers an explosion of brambly fruits, whilst pitch-perfect tannins frame sunkissed notes of black olive, wild fennel and brine. A wine that positively screams of sunshine and calls for lamb on the grill.
