Gamay from old vines planted over weathered granite, basalt and schist from Romuald’s holdings in both Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly. A deeper shade of ruby, this pairs darker, brambly fruit with a savoury, rocky taste of terroir. A delicious expression of this famous cru that will age beautifully over the coming years.

Barbera del Monferrato 2025
Piedmont, Italy
Barbera from vines up to sixty years old planted over clay and sandy marl. The grapes were destemmed, and the wine fermented on the skins for a fortnight before being pressed to large oak casks until spring. This is textbook Barbera, plush with fruit black and blue, and awash with the kind of cleansing acidity that makes it the perfect foil to the kind of rich, robust dishes you find in Piedmont’s hills.

Rosso Castagno 2024
Lazio, Italy
Sangiovese from a thirty year old parcel planted over clay in Orvieto. The grapes were destemmed and fermented on the skins for a fortnight before resting for a year in large chestnut casks. From a cooler vintage, whilst light on its feet, this offers classic varietal notes of bright red cherry, earth and bitter herbs. Heaven alongside something beautiful from the grill.
